Facebook lets you choose light or dark, and that's it. You can't change the blue, the background or the cards. With a browser extension you can recolor the whole site in a couple of clicks, and it only changes Facebook on your own screen.
Pick a ready-made theme
Profile Customizer comes with 25 hand-tuned themes, from calm (Paper, Nord, Cloud) to loud (Synthwave, Cyberpunk, Myspace 2006). Hover over a theme to see Facebook change instantly, then click to keep it. Browse all themes.
Change just the accent color
Like your theme but not the blue? In the Style tab, pick any Accent color. Buttons, links, highlights and even the Facebook logo switch to it. Any accent color is free.
Make your own theme
Under Custom theme, choose five colors: background, cards, text, soft text and accent. Profile Customizer builds a complete theme from them, including menus, borders and hover states, and nudges colors where needed so text stays readable. A readability check warns you if contrast gets too low (Pro).
Fine-tune the look
- Corners: sharp, default, soft or round.
- Cards: flat or outlined. Accent and glowing cards are Pro.
- Top bar: match the theme or the page, or use your accent color (Pro).
Share your colors
The More tab copies a short code for your whole look. Send it to a friend who uses Profile Customizer and they can paste it to get the same colors.
How to try it
- Add Profile Customizer to your browser.
- Open facebook.com and open the customizer: click the round rainbow button at the bottom right, click the extension icon, or press Alt+Shift+C.
- Hover over themes in the Themes tab, or open the Style tab for colors.
Questions
Can I change Facebook's blue color?
Not in Facebook's settings. With Profile Customizer, pick any accent color in the Style tab and every blue button, link and highlight changes to it.
Can I make Facebook pink, or any other color?
Yes. Try the Sakura or Lavender themes, or build your own theme from five colors.
Do Messenger and Marketplace change too?
Yes. On facebook.com every page, menu and chat window uses your colors. The Messenger app and Facebook's phone apps aren't affected.
Is it free?
